New York Cares (See Jane Love)

I have an inexplicable love for New York City. I’m pretty certain that no one understands why I feel this way; in fact, it’s safe to say that I don’t even understand my unwavering love for the Big Apple. Similar to young love, I am blind to its faults and tirelessly defend it to others. I constantly daydream about moving there and fantasize about the day that I’ll be able to do so. In the meantime, I’ll have to settle for visits. I had a great time with friends this past weekend and was sad to see the Manhattan skyline disappear from my view as the plane flew towards Chicago.
I also tried on my first wedding dresses, which was very exciting. I have more to try on but am definitely starting to get a feel for what I like (and don’t like). The J Crew Wedding + Specialty Boutique was heavenly and I’ll have to steal some pictures from my friend Maggie, who took several of the interior–it’s really an aesthetic dream.
How was your weekend?
One day I MUST visit New York, my weekend was OK, I spent it with my family 🙂

I completely understand your love affair. I found myself getting ANGRY at my mother in law this weekend for simply stating her opinion (she doesn't like NYC). I nearly started an argument and DEFINITELY pouted after she listed its faults (which I TOTALLY disagree with) 😉
